Cringleford Singers

We are a women's choir numbering just under 40 members, all ages and all voices, with a male "band" of keyboard, bass guitar, and violin and helped along with one of the choir who plays percussion.

When we perform we raise money for local charities including recent donations to Break, East Anglian Air Ambulance and £1000 to Home start. We are currently raising upwards of £500 for the local Young Carers' group.

Since being formed in 1972 we have extended our repetoire which includes all styles. We can perform everything from classical to jazz, songs from the shows, spirituals ... you name it, we'll sing it!

We entertain all around Norwich and suburbs and take part in about 20 musical events a year. This enables us to raise around £2000 a year for the local charities

We welcome women who would like to do something different on Thursday evenings. Perhaps you haven't sung since schooldays - well, give it a try! We meet at 7.30 pm. in the Patteson Rooms, Newmarket Road.

If you would like to either join us or book us contact the conductor, Margaret Smith, on 01603 453010 (evenings).
