Cringleford Phoenix Group
The Phoenix Group, with a membership limit of 80, welcomes ladies wishing to have an interesting, sociable and relaxing afternoon. The annual subscription is £15 and visitors pay £2 per meeting.
Meetings take place on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 2 pm in Cringleford Church Hall when there is usually an interesting talk followed by free refreshments and a get together.
We have a trading stall where members may bring unwanted items and if sold, 20% of the price goes to our chosen charities. The charities we will support in 2010 are ‘Hamlet Centre Trust’ and ‘Riding for the Disabled’. There are also birthday cards for sale.
We hold a monthly raffle for the Group’s funds at £l a ticket.
In the spring there is a lunch at Park Farm.
In April and November, for a small charge, there is lunch of home-made soup and crumble before the monthly meeting which, on those days, starts at 2:30pm
It is hoped to arrange an outing in the summer and suggestions for a venue are invited.
There is no meeting in August.
