Nordic Walking is an extremely effective, very sociable, affordable, fun and easy way to exercise.  It provides benefits for almost everybody, whatever your age, fitness level or goal.
It is an enhancement of ordinary walking, and uses poles which add major benefits:
~Your upper body gets a work-out, as well as your legs
~You work harder than usual, but the poles make it easier!

In fact, once the correct technique has been learnt, Nordic Walking can exercise 90% of your body’s muscles, and burn 20% more calories than normal walking!

It is an extremely sociable form of exercise, and can be taken at your own pace, allowing you to exercise comfortably and chat at the same time if you wish to!

Varied walks are conducted locally to appreciate, explore and enjoy the villages and countryside, whilst seeing the changing seasons.
